Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily bookkeeping for a diverse portfolio
of clients
- Code weekly transactions and reconcile
bank/credit card accounts
- Reconcile revenue against third-party reports
- Perform month-end close: accruals, adjustments,
and financial statement delivery
- Maintain workflow documentation and chart of
accounts hygiene
- Coordinate payroll: track hours, review reports,
and post entries
- Support 1099 processes: vendor onboarding and
W-9 collection
- Communicate proactively with clients to request
documents, resolve issues, and offer guidance
- Conduct cleanup and diagnostic reviews as needed
- Use Keeper (client portal synced with QBO) for
workflow and book reviews
- Assist with IT documentation and billing setup
during onboarding
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of bookkeeping experience in a
multi-client or small business setting
- 1+ year of hands-on experience with QuickBooks
Online
- Comfortable managing multiple clients and
industries
- Strong ability to explain financial concepts to
non-accountants
- Experience with payroll coordination and
month-end reporting
- Familiarity with Excel, Microsoft 365, and
Outlook
- Experience with Keeper is a plus
