and funding)
Purpose of the Role
The Administrative
Assistant provides logistical, procurement, and
administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations of the Narok Field
Office. S/he supports staff travel arrangements, documentation, petty cash
management, procurement, and communication with Nairobi HQ.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain field office operations, including
filing, record keeping, and procurement documentation.
- Support organization of meetings, trainings, and
community events.
- Handle petty cash, prepare payment requests, and
maintain expense records.
- Ensure proper maintenance of office supplies,
utilities, and equipment.
- Manage travel logistics for staff and field
visitors.
- Support asset inventory and monthly reporting to
HQ.
- Maintain strong communication with the Finance
and HR teams in Nairobi.
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma in Business Administration, Office
Management, or related field.
- At least 2 years’ experience in office
administration, preferably within NGO or donor-funded projects.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic bookkeeping.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and
multitasking abilities.
- Fluency in English and Kiswahili required.
