Job Purpose

  • This position is responsible for collecting, analyzing and interpreting statistical data to departmental decision making and operations. support

  • Preparing statistical reports, charts and summaries for internal and external use;
  • Designing, maintaining and updating statistical databases and dashboards; Interpreting statistical analysis for policy development;
  • Assisting with research, dataa displaying, forecasting and performance analysis; gement in and Offering support to employees and management in analyzing and interpreting data;
  • Ensuring accuracy and consistency in data used for reporting purposes; Generating basic statistical reports and summaries;
  • Assisting with data collection, entry and quality control;
  • Collecting, analyzing and interpreting data to support departmental needs;
  • Verifying data for inaccuracies and applying statistical methods to address such limitations; lata for in

  • Ensuring data integrity, quality and compliance with ethical and regulatory standards;
  • Creating charts, graphs and visualizations to communicate data insights;

Minimum Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s Degree (Statistics) with three( 3) years working experience as an Administrative Assistant Grade VIII or its equivalent;
  • Must be registered with relevant professional body and in good standing;
  • Proficiency in relevant computer applications

The appointment to the positions of Senior Procurement Officer, Senior Estates Officer, Medical Officer, Clinical Instructor and Technologist and other administrative positions shall be on Permanent & Pensionable upon satisfactory completion of six (6) months probation period and subject to satisfactory performance. The appointment to the position of University Librarian shall be on a Five (5) year contract term
