Our client is seeking a Receptionist who will be the first point of contact, ensuring a professional, welcoming, and efficient reception area. This role will support daily office operations by managing front-office tasks, handling inquiries, and providing administrative assistance to various departments, all in alignment with the organization’s Christian mission and values.

Key Responsibilities


Front-Office & Customer Service

  • Greet visitors, parents, staff, and partners in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Answer, screen, and direct incoming calls promptly and efficiently.
  • Handle inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and integrity.
  • Ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area at all times.

Administrative Support

  • Assist various departments with administrative tasks as required.
  • Schedule appointments, meetings, and coordinate visitor arrangements.
  • Maintain accurate reception logs, records, and sign-in sheets.

Information & Technology Management

  • Handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Use Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) to prepare documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and manage emails.
  • Support basic administrative workflows to ensure smooth operations at the front desk.

Time & Task Management

  • Prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines and ensure smooth reception operations.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work efficiently under supervision while managing multiple tasks.
  • Ensure timely and accurate communication between the reception area and internal departments.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma or Degree in Office Administration, Secretarial Studies, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a receptionist or front-office role (NGO/ministry/ school setting experience preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
