Property Management Assistant Job in Kenya - Bruntwork

Responsibilities

  • Draft rental agreements and coordinate DocuSign processes, including applicable addendums.
  • Send welcome letters and guide new tenants through rent payment and maintenance request procedures.
  • Monitor property management software for maintenance requests and follow up to ensure timely resolution.
  • Schedule recurring property tasks, periodic walkthroughs, and coordinate HVAC services across properties.
  • Send seasonal maintenance notices (e.g., sprinkler system winterization).
  • Create and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and task checklists for operational consistency.
  • Design new forms and documents as business needs evolve.
  • Build self-managing systems and structured workflows for ongoing efficiency.
  • Organize and pre-schedule property-related tasks using company calendar systems.
  • Support future bookkeeping and financial management tasks as the role expands.

Requirements


  • Proven experience in property management or a related administrative role.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative in process development.
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with tenants, vendors, and owners.
  • Proficiency with property management software and DocuSign.
  • Experience with form creation and document management.
  • Bookkeeping knowledge preferred for future responsibilities.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-growing environment where systems are being built and refined.
