Description
CITAM seeks to recruit a born again experienced and
self-motivated individual to fill the position of an ICT Systems
Administrator.
Overall Responsibility: ICT
Systems Administrator is responsible for the design, implementation, security,
support and maintenance of ICT systems that facilitate timely provision of
information needed to effectively support the ministry and operations of CITAM.
Responsibilities
- Responsible
for the Maintenance, Management, Configuration, Integration and reliable
operation of ICT systems (ERP System (Sage X3, Sage 300),
School Management Systems (Xenesis),
Hospitality Management System, Church Management System, Office 365,
Active Directory etc.), network servers, virtualization and Automation
Processes.
- Troubleshoot
hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems
and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues.
- Provide
documentation and technical specifications for planning and implementing
new or upgrades of IT infrastructure.
- Perform
or delegate regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes
for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.
- Lead
desktop and helpdesk support efforts, making sure all desktop
applications, workstations, UPSs, Sound Systems and related equipment
problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions.
- Responsible
for capacity, storage planning, and database performance.
- Implement,
monitor and undertake periodic review of ICT policy, Adherence to ISO
standards, Administration, Installation and Troubleshooting of CITAM’s
security solutions. Implements network’s security, protection against
unauthorized access, modification, or destruction, and troubleshoot any
access problems.
- Coordinate
licensing issues with software/hardware vendors and maintaining annual
maintenance contracts while ensuring information security.
Requirements
- Must
be a born-again, mature Christian who conforms to the CITAM statement of
faith.
- Minimum
of 5 years continuous experience in database, network administration, or
system administration.
- Working
knowledge of Sage X3 and Sage 300 ERP systems.
- Working
Knowledge of cloud Technologies/Computing with emphasis on Microsoft Azure
Cloud.
- Working
knowledge of virtualization Software, VMWare, or equivalent is a plus.
- Knowledge
of Microsoft SQL Server Database System (Installation, Administration,
Troubleshooting, Scripting, Backups, etc.)
- Strong
knowledge of implementing and effectively developing ServiceDesk and IT
operations best practices, including expert knowledge of security,
storage, data protection, and disaster recovery protocols.\
- Experience
with Active Directory Implementation and Administration both on premise
and Azure Active Directory.
- Bachelor’s
degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering
or a closely related field.
- Azure
Administrator Associate: Certification as Azure Administrator.
- Training
on Sage X3 and Sage 300.
