Responsibilities
- Oversee
administration of the department and articulate the departmental vision.
- Implement
strategic plans aligned with County’s Vision 2030 and CIDP.
- Provide
strategic leadership and policy direction in the development and
implementation of programs and projects.
- Promote
effective service delivery and ensure sustainable utilization of
departmental resources.
- Coordinate
development and review of strategic plans and budgets.
- Formulate
and implement county laws and regulations.
- Promote
innovation and ensure compliance with performance standards and
accountability measures.
- Facilitate
intergovernmental and inter-agency coordination.
- Monitor
and evaluate programs to ensure compliance with county and national
development plans.
Qualifications:
- Be
a Kenyan citizen.
- Hold
a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution.
- A
Master’s degree is an added advantage.
- Have
at least 10 years of professional experience, five of which must be in a
senior management or leadership position.
- Proven
track record in strategic leadership and performance management.
- Demonstrate
understanding of government systems and transformational leadership.
- Possess
relevant knowledge and expertise in their area of specialization.
- Meet
the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution.
