Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (CSEA) & Gender-Based Violence (GBV)
Prevention and Response Support Programme seeks to strengthen community
protection systems, promote prevention, improve access to survivor-centred
support services, and reduce the vulnerability of children and young people to
CSEA and GBV. The programme combines prevention, awareness and community
engagement with response mechanisms, including trauma-informed approaches, case
management and referral pathways.

is inviting applications from passionate, creative and community-minded young
people to serve as part time Youth County Coordinators, also known as Local
User and Content Administrators (LUCA), across 14 selected counties in Kenya.
Who Can Apply?
We are
looking for young people who are active, creative, connected to their
communities and passionate about using media and storytelling for positive
social change.
Applicants should ideally:
- Be a
young person living in or having strong links to one of the 14 target
counties.
- Have
an understanding of the local youth, creative and community ecosystem.
- Demonstrate
experience or interest in filmmaking, digital content creation, social
media, community mobilisation, communications, journalism, arts,
storytelling or related fields.
- Have
strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be
able to mobilise and work effectively with other young people.
- Demonstrate
integrity, responsibility and respect for confidentiality.
- Be
comfortable using digital and social media platforms.
- Be
willing to support community-based activities and occasional field
engagements.
- Demonstrate
an interest in CSEA/GBV prevention, child protection, SRHR, youth
empowerment and/or community development.
Previous professional experience is
not necessarily required. Strong community connections, creativity,
leadership potential and commitment to positive social change will be highly
valued.
