Responsible for coordinating HUB activities, supporting programme implementation, managing partnerships, organising meetings and events, monitoring progress, maintaining records, and preparing reports. Requires a relevant qualification in development studies, project management, social sciences, business administration, or a related field. The position is based in Nairobi and may require fieldwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Build,
lead and continuously develop the Global Admin HUB and its team in Nairobi
- Lead
the recruitment, onboarding and training of HUB team members in
coordination with Head Office
- Manage
the day-to-day operations of the HUB and provide operational supervision,
guidance and support to the teams
- Ensure
timely, efficient and high-quality service delivery in accordance with
agreed Service Level Agreements
- Support
the phased transition and integration of operational processes and systems
into the HUB
- Act
as a key liaison between the HUB, Country Offices and Head Office,
ensuring effective communication, coordination and alignment across
workflows
- Coordinate
the resolution of operational issues together with HUB teams and relevant
country stakeholders
- Ensure
compliance and quality assurance across HUB-managed processes in line with
internal procedures, controls and audit requirements
- Drive
continuous improvement of HUB operations and adapt processes in line with
WHH’s digital transformation
- Contribute
as a key operational stakeholder and member of the ZAMI Core Team,
identifying risks and challenges, sharing lessons learned and supporting
successful implementation
- Coordinate
the documentation and exchange of lessons learned and good practices
between the HUB and Head Office
Qualifications
- A
university or technical college degree in a relevant field
- 2–5
years of relevant professional experience, ideally gained in countries of
the Global South
- Experience
in coordinating and organizing operational processes; experience in
financial processing of projects is an advantage
- Strong
leadership and people management skills, with the ability to guide and
develop a diverse team
- Strong
organizational and coordination skills and the ability to manage multiple
stakeholders and operational priorities
- A
collaborative and solution-oriented working style, combined with
initiative and sound decision-making skills
- Strong
intercultural communication and negotiation skills and the ability to work
effectively across countries and organizational units
- You
recognize the growing value of data in your field and are eager to build
your awareness and skills to incorporate data-informed approaches into
your work
- Excellent
English language skills; knowledge of an additional international
language, particularly French or Arabic, is an advantage
