Responsible for supporting finance activities, preparing financial records, assisting with reporting, and gaining practical experience across finance functions. Requires a relevant qualification in finance, accounting, economics, business, or a related field. The position is based in Nairobi and requires on-site work.
Key Responsibilities
- Fixed
Assets Verification – Conduct 100% verification of the institution’s fixed
assets in coordination with the General Finance team.
- Stock
Count Support – Support the institution-wide stock count exercise,
including physical verification and reconciliation of stock records.
- Reconciliations
– Perform reconciliations of assigned financial accounts and records.
- G-L
Variance Analysis – Analyze general ledger variances and investigate
discrepancies.
- Assigned
Report Preparation – Prepare finance reports as assigned by the
supervisor.
Qualifications
- Master’s
or Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a
related field
- No
prior work experience mandatory; this is an entry-level trainee role.
Exposure through coursework, attachment, or internship in
finance/accounting is an added advantage.
Relevant Experience
- Up
to one years of relevant experience including internships, freelance,
volunteer or academic project work. Portfolio demonstrating written and
visual work required.
