Key Responsibilities
- Assist in writing, editing, and developing
engaging content for various platforms (website, social media,
newsletters, reports). This includes human interest stories, press
releases, blogs, and other campaign-related content.
- Help in managing and creating content for social
media platforms, including scheduling posts, responding to comments, and
tracking social media metrics.
- Conduct research to support campaigns and
briefs, business development tasks, media trends, advocacy opportunities,
and assigned projects.
- Assist in active media monitoring, monitoring
the impact of communications and campaign activities, building
relationships with media outlets and journalists, organizing press
releases, and tracking media coverage.
- Provide logistical and administrative support in
the planning and execution of events/projects. This includes being handy
and resourceful in developing campaign materials, organizing events, and
liaising with suppliers and stakeholders and compiling post event reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communication, Linguistics
or Social Sciences related studies.
- Must have graduated in the past 3- 5 years and
keen to develop experience in Public Relations/ Communications/Research
field
- Willingness to learn and contribute to ideation,
campaign management, media relations, social media content production,
Account Management
- Excellent skills in writing, presentation and
public engagement. Experience in academic writing will be an added
advantage.
