Pre-Sales Engineer (ICT Solutions) Job in Kenya - Amani Salem

Location: Nairobi (Remote Working Position)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated, tech-savvy, and solutions-oriented Pre-Sales Engineer to join our team. This is a remote working position, and the ideal candidate will work closely with corporate clients to understand their technology needs and recommend ICT solutions that enhance operational efficiency and business performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with new and existing corporate clients.
  • Prepare and deliver high-quality technical presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations.
  • Support sales processes including pre-qualification, RFP/tender responses, and solution positioning.
  • Identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities across ICT product lines.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Training, Marketing, Product Management, and Finance) to ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve client technical issues in liaison with the technical teams.
  • Maintain accurate client records and communication logs via CRM.
  • Provide clients with updates on product improvements, upgrades, warranties, and lifecycle changes.

Qualifications & Experience


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in pre-sales, ICT technical sales, or solutions engineering.
  • Strong understanding of routing, switching, networking, and ICT infrastructure.
  • Hands-on experience in IP networks (implementation, configuration, troubleshooting).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong customer relationships and support complex sales cycles.
