Graduate Trainee, Microbiologist, Job in Kenya - Kenafric

Job Summary:

Ensure compliance in terms of Microbiology as per set statutory requirements and company set regulations.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Execute departmental activities in alignment with production strategies, policies, and procedures to meet organizational goals.
  • Identify issues through microbiological analysis and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
  • Continuously update and apply new knowledge in microbiological testing techniques and standards.
  • Prepare and oversee the departmental activities and work plans and schedules.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain a clean, orderly working environment.
  • Perform hygienic swabbing within the production facility.
  • Implement quality, customer excellence, and change initiative to support business objectives and culture.
  • Apply proper calibration and handling procedures for microbiological equipment.
  • Possess strong knowledge of chemical analysis related to food products.
  • Supervise inventory management systems to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma/Degree in Microbiology/any other relevant course
  • Minimum of 1-2 years experience in the related role
