Job
Purpose
To
coordinate administrative operations and support services, ensuring efficient
resource allocation, compliance with policies, and ensuring safety and security
of Hospital assets in the area of deployment.
Duties and responsibilities
Reporting
to the supervisor in the area of deployment, the position holder will be
responsible for the following:
- Participating in
formulation, review and implementation of administrative policies,
procedures, strategies and guidelines.
- Undertaking effective and
efficient allocation and utilization of office space and resources.
- Ensuring safety and
security of Hospital assets.
- Coordinating, planning
and budgeting for the department.
- Coordinating the
activities of administrative services.
- Maintaining health and
safety standards.
- Identifying risks and
hazards and ensuring protection and mitigation measures are in place.
- Coordinating of
cross-functional administrative services.
- Coordinating Performance
Contract negotiations.
- Coordinating preparation
of procurement plans.
- Ensuring effective,
efficient allocation and utilization of office space and resources.
- Monitoring expenditure
trends.
- Any other duty as may be
assigned.
Key Qualifications and Experience
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in
Public Administration, Business Management/Administration or other
relevant field from a recognized institution.
- At least six (6) years’
relevant work experience three (3) of which should have been at the Grade
of Administrative Officer I or a comparable position.
- Management Course lasting
not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution.
- Proficiency in computer
applications.
- Compliance with Chapter
Six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya.
