Role Description:
We are
seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our Health Practice. You
will work with an excellent and diverse team to deliver high-quality consulting
and technical assistance projects across infectious diseases and women’s
health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage projects, generate sound advice, and
provide quality assistance to clients.
- Conduct and review both qualitative and
quantitative analysis; synthesise findings into clear reports and
presentations.
- Review inputs of junior consultants; nurture,
train, and mentor them.
- Prepare clearly thought-out and logically
written documents using MS Word and PowerPoint
- Identify and pursue new opportunities,
contribute to proposals, and strengthen client relationships.
- Interact and negotiate with clients.
- Contribute to thought leadership and positioning
of the Health Practice.
- Engage with clients, partners, and government
counterparts to facilitate collaboration and influence strategy.
- Keep abreast of industry developments
Requirements:
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. MPH,
MBBCH, MBA) or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 6 years of professional experience, with
at least 5 years in oversight of donor programs.
- Technical expertise in infectious diseases and
sexual/reproductive health and rights.
- Experience in knowledge management (advantage).
- Experience working across sub-Saharan Africa and
understanding of regional epidemics/pandemics.
- Experience with donor-funded programmes in the
health sector.
- Experience with multilateral organisations and
country programme managers.
- Financial and operational management experience
for programme delivery.
- Excellent writing, presentation, and
interpersonal communication
