Front Office Officer Job in Kenya - Biofarms

PURPOSE OF JOB / POSITION

  • Reporting to the Administration Officer, the Front Office Officer will ensure management of the front office, execution of the best Biofarms customer experience to our partners, suppliers, and farmers by providing support on all enquiries, and assist in general administrative functions.

Main Duties/Responsibilities

  • Specifically, s/he will undertake the following roles and responsibilities:
  • Provide front office, and administrative support to the office and program sections.
  • Respond to general partners, suppliers and farmer enquiries and complaints in a timely manner and follow up to ensure issues are resolved to satisfaction and in line with the company policy.
  • Consistently inform and educate suppliers and farmers on Biofarms products on the social media platforms while maintaining a positive professional attitude.
  • keeping a track record of all calls, chats, emails etc. and follow through to a satisfactory end.

  • Ensure superior customer care to all clients, staff, and visitors.
  • Ensure prompt and efficient initiation and reception of calls including identifying the caller’s requirements and referencing appropriately.
  • Ensure organization of the reception.
  • Ensure continuous update and maintenance of the office extension list.
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of boardroom calendars and provision of meeting logistics.
  • Any other task related to the business as may requested from time to time.

Academic Qualifications

  • At least diploma in Business Administration, Customer Service, Horticulture,
  • Agriculture, Agronomy, or related discipline.
  • Certificate plus two year of additional practical experience in similar position is acceptable.

Skills & Experience

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in customer care, front office,
  • customer/clients liaison, and/or related communication role.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Good oral and written communication skills (English and Swahili)
  • Experience in the agricultural sector / Avocado export industry is a distinct advantage.
  • Conversant with social media marketing and digital platforms.
  • A proven ability to work in a team.
