To support the finance and operations team in maintaining accurate financial records, managing Inventory records, performing regular reconciliations, and ensuring smooth financial operations Within the retail store.

Job Description

Financial & Inventory Recording

  • Bookkeeping &Financial Records
  • Record daily sales, purchases, and expenses accurately in accounting systems.
  • Maintain and update ledgers, journals, and financial files.
  • Process supplier invoices and ensure timely payments.
  • Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and reports.
  • Support in cash flow tracking and petty cash management.
  • Stock Management & Inventory Control
  • Participate in monthly and quarterly stock takes.
  • Reconcile physical stock with system records and investigate variances.
  • Monitor stock movements between branches or warehouses.
  • Work closely with store staff to ensure accurate inventory documentation.
  • Reconciliation &Reporting

  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Reconcile supplier accounts, customer accounts, and internal control accounts.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in accounting and inventory records.
  • Prepare periodic reports on sales, stock levels.
  • Compliance & Support
  • Ensure all transactions comply with accounting standards and company policies.
  • Support external audits and provide necessary documentation.
  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity in handling financial information.

Education & Qualifications:

Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field

Experience:

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in an accounts role.
  • Proven experience in reconciling stock and financial data across departments.
  • Hands-on experience with accounting and inventory management software e.g. SAP or similar).
  • Familiarity with purchasing, stock tracking, and invoice processing workflows.
  • Experience in retail and distribution environments is a strong advantage
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
