Social Media Assistant Job in Kenya

Scope

  • Approximately 21 hours per week (6 hours for one business, 15 hours for the other business)
  • Remote position with flexible hours
  • Creating content for two distinct businesses: a functional gym and a recruitment agency
  • Focus on organic social media growth, no paid advertising management
  • Weekly newsletters and social media posts for Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn

Responsibilities

  • Create and schedule social media posts for Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn using Canva and Hootsuite
  • Maintain brand consistency across all social media platforms for client’s businesses
  • Assist in the creation of weekly newsletters for both businesses
  • Utilize ChatGPT and other AI tools to generate content ideas and copy
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure all posts align with provided briefs and guidelines
  • Monitor and report on social media metrics and engagement

Requirements


  • Proficiency in Canva for creating social media graphics (APPLICANTS MUST SUBMIT PORTFOLIOS)
  • Experience with Hootsuite or similar social media management tools
  • Strong understanding of various social media platforms and their best practices
  • Excellent written and visual communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Familiarity with AI tools for content creation is a plus
