Job Description
Reporting
to the Constituency Voter Educator, The Ward-based Voter Educator will carry out the following tasks:
- Distribution and dissemination of the voter
education material in Schools, Churches/mosques, Health centers,
Markets, Community centers, Farms, business centers etc
- Liaise with local stakeholders, relevant
authorities and community leaders to facilitate voter education
activities.
- Conduct voter education in the County Assembly
Ward.
- Act as a link between the IEBC Constituency
Election Coordinators, CSO’s, CBO’s and the community.
- Assess public understanding of matters related
to electoral activity at hand in the ward.
- Monitor and evaluate voter education providers
in the ward.
- Prepare and submit weekly activity reports to
the Constituency voter educator, and
- Any other assignment as directed by the
immediate supervisor.
Job Requirements
Wages
- County Voter Educators will be paid Kshs. 2500/=
per day
- Constituency Voter Educators will be paid
Kshs.2000/= per day
- Ward-based Voter Educators will be paid
Kshs.1500/- per day
