Team Leader, Pedagogical Training in Tourism & Hospitality, Job in Kenya - IRES

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly qualified Team Leader to oversee and coordinate the delivery of pedagogical training programs focused on tourism and hospitality education. The ideal candidate will possess advanced academic credentials and a proven track record in leading educational initiatives, with a specific emphasis on curriculum development and learner-centered training methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the training project team.
  • Supervise the design and delivery of training content aligned with High Impact Tourism Training (HITT) methodologies.
  • Liaise with stakeholders and ensure the achievement of project deliverables.
  • Ensure quality assurance and continuous improvement in training implementation.

Qualifications and Experience:


  • PhD or Master’s Degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field such as
  • Tourism or Hospitality Education.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in developing and implementing pedagogical training programs, particularly in the tourism and hospitality sectors.
  • Demonstrated leadership  in  managing cross-disciplinary training teams and coordinating large-scale training initiatives
  • Proven ability to integrate student-centered and experiential learning models into training programs.
  • Exceptional project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
