KEMRI is hiring a Study Coordinator to coordinate research studies, oversee project implementation, manage study documentation, supervise field activities, and ensure compliance with research protocols. Experience in clinical research is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the project manager to plan and deliver the
research work.
- Prepare study materials including training materials and standard
operating procedures.
- Prepare work plans aligned to project deliverables.
- Co-ordinate and oversee data collection and management including
data quality checks, storage and archiving.
- Supervise research assistants attached to the Project.
- Co-ordinate adherence to funder’s technical and financial
requirements.
- Ensure compliance with policies on ethical conduct of research and
human subjects protections.
- Co-ordinate shipping of samples locally and internationally.
- Carry out any other duties which may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Microbiology, Biochemistry or any other
Biomedical Sciences degree from a recognized institution.
Mandatory
- Master’s degree in vaccine related course will be an added

- Well versed with protocol development and approval

- Experience working in an immunology laboratory.

- Certificate in “Good Clinical Practice” and/or “Human Subjects
