Lexo
Energy is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Retail Convenience Manager to lead and
grow their Convenience business portfolio across their expanding network of
service stations. This role is critical in driving revenue diversification
through Convenience stores, food services, service bays, and strategic third
party partnerships. You will play a key role in shaping innovative revenue
streams, enhancing customer experience, and delivering sustainable
profitability in a competitive and fast paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Lexo Energy’s Convenience Business strategy in
alignment with organizational objectives, focusing on sales growth, margin
optimization, revenue expansion, and the deployment of new and existing
concepts.
- Take full accountability for the performance, volumes, and margins
across all Convenience business lines, including Convenience stores,
service bays, and food operations.
- Lead and oversee marketing communications, digital initiatives, and
market intelligence activities to support business growth and enhance
brand positioning.
- Ensure strict adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental
standards, including compliance with HACCP requirements across all
Convenience business operations and third-party activities.
- Drive the development of business cases, proposals, and strategic
plans to introduce innovative Convenience business concepts in line with
the company’s growth strategy.
- Plan, execute, and monitor promotional and marketing campaigns,
ensuring optimal performance and revenue maximization across all service
stations.
- Collaborate closely with the Sales & Marketing Manager and
Maintenance teams to ensure operational efficiency, reliability, and
optimal performance of all convenience equipment.
- Provide end-to-end project management for all Convenience business
initiatives, coordinating with internal stakeholders and external partners
(e.g. banks, food chains, pharmacies) to ensure successful delivery,
revenue optimization, and compliance with technical and safety standards.
- Oversee the selection, onboarding, and management of suppliers,
including contract negotiations and margin optimization to enhance
profitability.
- Manage and strengthen relationships with third-party partners across
retail, food, and service categories to drive value creation and ensure
consistent service quality.
Qualifications
Academic
qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting,
Commerce, Marketing or business-related field. •
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Sales & Marketing, preferably
within an FMCG or retail environment
- Experience managing multi-site retail operations is an added
advantage
- Exposure to service station networks is a plus
