In this role, you ensure a warm welcome, smooth operations, accurate administration, and a consistently high-touch guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily front office operations, including fast and accurate
check-in/check-out.
- Maintain excellent lobby and shop standards at all times.
- Handle guest requests and complaints quickly and professionally.
- Plan staff shifts and coordinate team coverage.
- Ensure timely communication across departments.
- Keep all systems and records up to date
- Support occupancy optimization and strict adherence to approved
rate/pricing structures.
- Supervise billing, reservations, and OTA updates to ensure
consistency and accuracy.
Requirements
- Experience: 3–5 years in Front Office, ideally in a 4–5 star safari
camp or luxury lodge.
- Education: Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management (or
equivalent).
- Systems & Admin: Strong PMS knowledge, reporting discipline, and
inventory control experience.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead a small team and make sound
decisions independently.
- Guest Service: Confident with VIP/high-touch service and complaint
resolution.
- Communication: Excellent spoken and written English
- Personality: Warm, authoritative, hands-on, and highly
detail-oriented.
