Responsible for overseeing city administration, coordinating service delivery, implementing city plans and policies, managing resources, supervising municipal operations, coordinating stakeholders, and monitoring the performance of city services. Requires a Bachelor’s degree, a postgraduate qualification in Business, Management, Finance, Accounting, or a related field, at least three years’ administration or management experience. The position is based in Kisumu and requires on-site work.
Qualifications
For
appointment to this position a candidate must:
- Be a
citizen of Kenya;
- Have
served and proven experience in administration or management either in
Public or Private sector for a minimum period of three (3) years;
- Hold
a Bachelors Degree from a University recognized in Kenya;
- Hold
a post graduate qualification in Business, Management, Finance, Accounting
or its equivalent;
- Be a
member of a relevant professional association or body and in good standing
- Be
in possession of at least Strategic Leadership Development Programme (SDP)
lasting not less than six (6) weeks or its equivalent from a recognized
institution; Have worked and resided in the Kisumu County for at least
five (5) years; and
- Satisfy
the requirements of Chapter (6) of the Constitution of Kenya.
