Warehouse Specialist Job in Kenya - KEDA Ceramics International

Location: Kisumu, Miwani

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure 6S standards are consistently maintained within the warehouse (godowns).
  • Coordinate with helpers and casual workers to effectively allocate daily tasks.
  • Verify that the correct quantity and quality of materials are loaded onto trucks, ensuring SAP codes, color codes, and truck numbers match the waybills or delivery notes.
  • Provide proper guidance to truck drivers, loaders, and forklift operators to ensure smooth and efficient loading operations.
  • Liaise with the Assistant Manager to obtain final confirmation of materials loaded onto trucks.
  • Maintain strong coordination with the Production (Grading) department to ensure timely transfer of materials to the receiving area across all shifts.
  • Conduct thorough checks on SAP codes, color codes, quantities, and material quality, and promptly address any discrepancies in coordination with the Grading Manager.

  • Ensure inbound operations are well-coordinated and efficiently executed.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field, with 2-4 years of experience in warehouse operations. Preferably, Manufacturing Company.

Key Skills and Competencies

  • Fluent In Both Written and Spoken English.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and analysis applications
  • Good Communication and Interpersonal skills.
  • High Level of Integrity and Team Player
  • Self-motivated and can work under minimal supervision
