Qualifications & Experience
- Have a Bachelor’s Degree in Entrepreneurship,
Business Management, Development studies or in any other relevant field.
- Have 3-5 years of practical experience in
entrepreneurship, social entrepreneurship, incubation,or acceleration
programs (as a practitioner, trainer, or coordinator).
- Have experience in delivering training,
workshops, or capacity-building activities.
- Have a good understanding of business planning,
business model design, and early-stage venture development.
- Have knowledge of the entrepreneurship and
innovation ecosystem in Nairobi and other parts of the country, including
key actors such as incubators, accelerators, networks, investors,and
support organizations.
- Have strong organizational and coordination
skills; ability to manage multiple activities and stakeholders
simultaneously.
- Have excellent communication and facilitation
skills, both in person and in writing.
- Be Comfortable working autonomously.
- Have proficiency in English (written and
spoken). Knowledge of Swahili is an asset.

Key
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will undertake below tasks,
among others;
Training Delivery & Participant Support
- Develop and deliver Social Entrepreneurship
training tailored to the needs of the participants of Social
Entrepreneurship Training and Digital Incubation programs.
- Provide hands-on support to trainees in business
model development, validation, and refinement.
- Coach participants in developing compelling
pitch decks and delivering presentations to potential funders, partners,
and stakeholders.
- Coordinate and support the delivery of expert
sessions, mentoring sessions, and peer-to-peer work sessions within the
framework of the hub’s Social Entrepreneurship Training and Digital
Incubation programs.
- Provide individual guidance and practical
feedback to help participants progress in developing their social
enterprise.
- Design and adapt training methodologies to be
inclusive, practical, and learner-centered, incorporating experiential
learning approaches.
Program Management
- Plan, organize, and manage Social
Entrepreneurship Training and Digital Incubation activities at the hub,
including scheduling, venue preparation, and training materials.
- Lead the mobilization and outreach phase to
attract and recruit eligible applicants for the hub’s Social
Entrepreneurship Training and Digital Incubation programs.
- Coordinate and support the selection and
onboarding process for participants transitioning into the training and
incubation program, in collaboration with EmpServe and W4 management
teams.
- Work closely with the ICT unit to integrate
digital skills into social enterprise development and strengthen
participant outcomes.
- Liaise with local partners, guest speakers,
experts, and mentors to ensure the smooth delivery of the hub’s Social
Entrepreneurship Training and the Digital Incubation activities.
- Engage with ecosystem partners (e.g.,
incubators, accelerators, funders, and networks) to create opportunities
for participants and strengthen program impact.
- Contribute to storytelling and visibility by
documenting impact stories in partnership with the Communications team.
Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting
- Develop and implement detailed training
schedules, work plans, and activity calendars aligned with program goals.
- Maintain accurate records of all program
participants, including attendance, enterprise progress, and transition
outcomes.
- Collect participant feedback, session reports,
and evaluation data in line with the program monitoring framework.
- Track participant engagement and progress
throughout the Social Entrepreneurship Training and Digital Incubation
programs.
- Ensure timely preparation and submission of
weekly and monthly program reports in line with organizational standards
Attend to other relevant duties as assigned by the
program Management team
