Join Severin Safari Camp as our Head of Front Office, ensuring a warm welcome and smooth, efficient guest experience while keeping front office operations organised, accurate, and paperless.
Duties
- Oversee front office daily operations including fast check-in/out,
lobby and shop standards, guest requests and complaint resolution, staff
shift planning, cash float and payment control, and timely communication.
- Maintain accurate records and keep all systems up to date (Google,
Asana, Cloudbeds, Odoo), supporting occupancy optimisation and strict
adherence to rate and pricing structure.
Requirements
- Experience: 3–5 years in a Front Office role, ideally in a 4–5 star
safari camp or luxury lodge.
- Education: Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management (or
equivalent).
- Systems & Skills: Strong PMS experience, reporting and inventory
control; confident handling billing, reservations, and OTA updates.
- Leadership & Service: Proven ability to lead a small team,
handle VIP and high-touch guests, and resolve complaints independently.
- Communication: Excellent spoken and written English; additional
foreign language(s) an advantage.
- Personality: Warm, authoritative, detail-oriented, and
hands-on—comfortable stepping into the Camp Manager role when needed.
