Key Responsibilities
System
Support & Maintenance
- Ensure continuous availability and performance of the Finacle core
banking environment
- Monitor system health, logs, interfaces, and integrations with
surrounding banking applications
- Troubleshoot and resolve system incidents, errors, and performance
issues in a timely manner
Upgrades
& Change Management
- Support system upgrades, patch installations, and version migrations
- Participate in testing (SIT/UAT) for new releases and enhancements
- Ensure smooth deployment of changes with minimal disruption to
banking operations
End-User
Support
- Provide functional and technical support to bank staff using the
core banking system
- Resolve user queries related to transactions, postings, accounts,
and reporting
- Conduct user training and knowledge transfer where required
System
Optimization & Improvement
- Analyze system performance and recommend optimization improvements
- Work with vendors and internal IT teams to enhance system stability
and efficiency
- Support integration between core banking and other banking platforms
(e.g., digital banking, mobile banking, ATM systems)
Compliance
& Controls
- Ensure system changes align with banking compliance, audit, and
security standards
- Support audit requests and provide system documentation when
required
Qualifications &
Experience
- Minimum 8 years’ hands-on experience supporting Finacle in a banking
environment
- Strong understanding of core banking operations (accounts, loans,
deposits, payments)
- Experience in system upgrades, patching, and production support
environments
- Knowledge of banking IT infrastructure and integrations
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to work in high-availability, mission-critical environments
