Our client, a medium-sized real estate company based
in Nairobi, is seeking to recruit a detail-oriented Accounts
Assistant to support day-to-day accounting and
administrative finance functions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for
maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices and payments,
reconciling bank statements, and assisting with budgeting and financial
reporting.
Key
Responsibilities
- Maintain general ledger records and accurate
bookkeeping.
- Manage petty cash, reconciliations, and weekly
cashbooks.
- Prepare payment vouchers, cheques, and RTGS
instructions.
- Handle accounts receivable, invoicing, and rent
collection updates.
- Track licenses, permits, and insurance renewals.
- Assist with filing, reporting, and audit
preparation.
- Coordinate minor repairs and handle
property-related queries.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce
(Finance/Accounting) or equivalent.
- Must have CPA II minimum.
- 1–2 years’ relevant experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office and accounting systems.
- High integrity, accuracy, and ability to meet
deadlines.
