Responsibilities
Duties
and responsibilities at this level will entail:
- Collecting data on population issues;
- Initiating the preparation of data collection tools;
- Compiling data from stakeholders and partners in population and
development;
- Initiating the design of information, education and communication
materials;
- Disseminating information on population and development to the
public through publications, barazas, newsletters, mass media, shows,
exhibitions, conferences;
- Drafting reports on the implementation of population and development
projects/programmes at National and County level.
Requirements for
Appointment
For
appointment to this grade, a candidate must have: –
- Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following disciplines: Population
Studies, Demography, Public Health, Sociology, Anthropology, Geography,
Economics, Population Health or equivalent qualification from a recognized
institution;
- Proficiency in Computer applications

- Clearance from Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC)
- Clearance Certificate from a Credit Reference Bureau (CRB)
