Fadhili
International School is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented School
Accountant to manage the school’s financial
records, budgeting, and compliance. The successful candidate will play a key
role in ensuring financial integrity, transparency, and efficient financial
operations to support the school’s academic mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial operations of the
school
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records,
ledgers, and reports
- Process school fees, invoices, receipts, and
payments
- Monitor student fee collections and follow up on
outstanding balances
- Prepare monthly, termly, and annual financial
statements
- Develop and manage school budgets and cash flow
forecasts
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements,
tax regulations, and audits
- Handle payroll processing and staff statutory
deductions
- Maintain proper filing of financial documents
and records
- Liaise with auditors, banks, suppliers, and
regulatory authorities
- Advise school management on financial planning
and cost control
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a
related field
- Professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, or
equivalent) is an added advantage
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience, preferably in a
school or educational institution
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and
Kenyan tax regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft
Excel
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention
to detail
