HR & Admin Officer Job in Kenya (50K)

A client in the advertising industry is seeking to hire a HR & Administration Officer to support day-to-day HR activities while coordinating office administration and operational tasks. The ideal candidate should be organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with the ability to balance HR responsibilities and general office coordination in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Human Resource Support


  • Assist in the recruitment process including job posting, interview coordination, and candidate communication.
  • Maintain and update employee records and HR documentation.
  • Support onboarding and exit processes.
  • Assist in implementing HR policies and procedures.
  • Support employee relations matters and escalate issues where necessary.
  • Track leave, attendance, and employee data.
  • Support performance management processes and training coordination.
  • Prepare basic HR reports and updates as required.

Administration & Operations Support

  • Coordinate day-to-day office operations to ensure smooth functioning.
  • Manage office supplies, service providers, and vendor coordination.
  • Support meeting scheduling, travel arrangements, and general office logistics.
  • Maintain office records, filing systems, and documentation.
  • Support internal communication and administrative coordination across departments.
  • Provide general administrative support to the operations team as required.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in HR and/or office administration.
  • Basic understanding of Kenyan labour laws and HR practices.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
