The Front
Office Officer is the first point of contact for guests
and plays a key role in shaping a positive and memorable resort experience.
This position is responsible for welcoming guests, managing check-ins and
check-outs, handling reservations, responding to inquiries, and ensuring smooth
front-desk operations at all times. The Front Office Officer coordinates
closely with housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance teams to meet
guest needs efficiently and resolve issues promptly. The role also involves
accurate billing, updating guest accounts, and maintaining reservation records
using the resort’s computerized POS. Strong communication skills, attention to
detail, and a guest-focused mindset are essential to maintaining service
excellence and operational accountability

Responsibilities
- Guest engagement and customer service
- Reservations and room management
- Check-in and check-out operations
- POS and PMS system utilization
- Cash and payment responsibility on a shift basis
- Coordination across resort departments
- Records management, compliance, and
confidentiality
Qualifications
- Diploma in Hospitality Management, Business
Administration, Customer Service, or a related field
- Fully computer literate with confidence in daily
system usage
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Flexible to work rotating shifts including
weekends and public holidays
- Ability to maintain frequent system use to
support seamless front desk operations
- Strong focus on guest satisfaction and service
quality
- High accuracy in billing, reconciliation, and
system updates
- Ability to manage professional shift handovers
and records
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- High integrity, confidentiality, and strong
attention to detail
