Person Specification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Project Management, or a relevant business field from a recognized institution
  • Excellent business acumen with a focus on cost management and operational efficiency within logistics processes
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple activities and maintain accurate records
  • Ability to manage teams, coordinate activities, and motivate staff to achieve operational goals
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a data driven approach to decision making
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement and reporting
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to identify issues, take initiative, and implement solutions
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Strong business reporting and people management skills

  • Demonstrated experience managing large and diverse fleets, particularly within the oil transport sector, with hands on knowledge of articulated and heavy vehicles
  • Proficiency in fleet management systems and ERP software
  • Strong understanding of transportation regulations, safety standards, and environmental compliance within the fuel industry across multiple countries of operation
