Accounts & Admin Executive Job in Kenya - Senses Hub

Senses Hub is Africa’s largest Assistive Technology research, innovation, and distribution hub. We operate across multiple countries, delivering research programmes, product distribution, and inclusive innovation initiatives that require strong financial controls and operational discipline.

We are seeking an Accounts & Admin Executive to manage accounting, financial administration, and project-level financial reporting across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate accounting records and financial books
  • Prepare budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections
  • Manage payroll, statutory deductions, and staff-related payments
  • Oversee tax compliance including VAT, PAYE, NSSF, NHIF, and other statutory obligations

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Support financial planning and cost control across projects and programmes
  • Track project budgets, expenditure, and financial reporting requirements
  • Support audits, donor reporting, and compliance processes
  • Provide financial insights to support management decision-making
  • Handle administrative finance tasks and coordinate with external auditors and advisors

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • CPA-K qualification
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in accounting and financial administration
  • Strong experience in budgeting, payroll, taxes, and financial reporting
  • Experience in project-based financial management and reporting
  • Strong knowledge of Kenyan tax and regulatory requirements
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills

Desirable

  • Experience working with NGOs, research organisations, startups, or donor-funded projects
  • Familiarity with accounting software and financial reporting tools
  • Experience supporting multi-country or multi-project operations
