We are seeking an Accounts & Admin
Executive to manage accounting, financial
administration, and project-level financial reporting across the organisation.
Key
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate accounting records and
financial books
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and cash flow
projections
- Manage payroll, statutory deductions, and
staff-related payments
- Oversee tax compliance including VAT, PAYE,
NSSF, NHIF, and other statutory obligations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial
statements
- Support financial planning and cost control
across projects and programmes
- Track project budgets, expenditure, and
financial reporting requirements
- Support audits, donor reporting, and compliance
processes
- Provide financial insights to support management
decision-making
- Handle administrative finance tasks and
coordinate with external auditors and advisors
Required Qualifications & Experience
- CPA-K qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a
related field
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in accounting and
financial administration
- Strong experience in budgeting, payroll, taxes,
and financial reporting
- Experience in project-based financial management
and reporting
- Strong knowledge of Kenyan tax and regulatory
requirements
- High attention to detail and strong
organisational skills
Desirable
- Experience working with NGOs, research
organisations, startups, or donor-funded projects
- Familiarity with accounting software and
financial reporting tools
- Experience supporting multi-country or
multi-project operations
