Job Summary
The Branch Manager
is responsible for leading sales agents in their allocated region, driving the
acquisition and growth of clients across all company’s products. The role
requires high-level sales strategy, leadership, mentoring, and a strong
understanding of lending practices.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales
strategies to drive disbursement growth.
- Set clear performance targets and monitor
progress across all sales teams.
- Identify market trends and competitor
activities to refine approach and positioning.
Team Supervision & Performance Management
- Supervise and support the sales agents,
by providing directions to help them achieve their targets.
- Conduct regular coaching, field visits,
and performance reviews for the agents
- Implement training programs and team
motivation strategies.
- Recruit /headhunt and train agents
- Develop and Implement strategies to make
dormant agents active
Sales Execution & Client Engagement
- Ensure effective lead generation,
customer engagement, and high loan conversion rates.
- Drive quality customer service and ensure
client satisfaction across all touchpoints.
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure sales processes adhere to internal
policy, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare detailed performance reports and
insights for senior management.
- Collaborate with credit and other team
members to improve sales effectiveness.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance,
Marketing or related field
- 5+ years in sales within microfinance or
financial services
- At least 2 years in a supervisory or
senior team leader role.
- Experience managing a sales team across a
region is highly desirable.
