Duties and Responsibilities
Duties
and responsibilities at this level will include:
- Managing and coordinating the day-to-day
administrative and executive operations of the office;
- Ensuring efficient communication between the
County Executive, departments, and external stakeholders;
- Overseeing the preparation of high-level
correspondence, reports, and policy briefs for the Executive Office;
- Ensuring a professional and efficient working
environment within the Office of the County Secretary;
- Compiling periodic administrative and
operational reports for the County Secretary;
- Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive
information and official records;
- Supervising departmental administrative teams;
and
- Performing any other duties assigned by the
immediate supervisor.
Requirements for Appointment
For
appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:
- Served as an Administrative Officer Job Group
“Q” or in a comparable position for a minimum period of three (3) years;
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration,
Public Administration, Office Management, Communication, or a relevant
discipline from a recognized institution;
- Master’s degree in Business Administration,
Public Administration, Office Management, Communication, or a relevant
discipline from a recognized institution is an added advantage;
- Demonstrated administrative competence and
integrity in previous assignments;
- Strong organizational, communication, and
interpersonal skills; and
- Certificate in Supervisory/Management course.
