The Waiter will provide exceptional guest service, ensuring a memorable dining experience.
Key
duties include:
- Greet guests warmly, escort them to tables, and
present menus with professionalism.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders,
ensuring special requests are communicated to the kitchen.
- Serve dishes and beverages promptly, maintaining
high standards of presentation and courtesy.
- Engage with guests to anticipate needs, recommend
menu items, and address inquiries.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area,
including tables, service stations, and utensils.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure
seamless service delivery.
- Handle guest complaints professionally,
escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Promote Sierra Restaurants’ specials and
promotions to enhance guest experiences.
Qualifications
- Diploma in a
related field, such as
Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, Food and Beverage Service, or
Business Administration, from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of two
years’ experience in a fine
dining restaurant, demonstrating expertise in culinary preparation (for
Sauciers and Grill Chefs) or guest service (for Waiters and Cashiers).
- Excellent
communication skills to
interact professionally with guests, colleagues, and management in
English; proficiency in Swahili is an advantage for local engagement.
- Aged between
25–35 years
