Located
in the serene surroundings of Kileleshwa, Kenton College is a co-educational
day school for children aged 3-13 years. Our campus is set on 35 acres,
providing a wonderful environment for learning and discovery.

We are looking to hire Waiters/Waitresses to join our team. Reporting to the Catering Manager, the ideal candidate will ensure our children have a positive dining experience while at School by showing genuine care and attention.
Duties and responsibilities
include the following:
- To Provide a consistently
high level of service to Kenton College children, staff and visitors.
- Staying attentive to the
needs and safety of children in the dining area.
- Following health code
standards with regards to handling of food.
- Ensure high standards of
cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas.
- Assist with School event
arrangements.
- Cleaning and general
upkeep of the School to ensure a clean, tidy, comfortable and safe
environment.
- Follow and uphold all
Kenton’s key policies especially Child Protection and Safeguarding.
Skills and abilities
- Superior food and
beverage knowledge.
- Ability to work with
people from different national and cultural backgrounds.
- A customer-orientated
approach; courtesy, tact and integrity.
- Ability to lift heavy
items with physical stamina and strength needed to stand and work for
eight hours each day.
- Immaculate personal
cleanliness and presentation.

Qualifications and skills
- Minimum Certificate in
Food and Beverage Management from a recognized institution.
- Minimum three years’ work
experience.
- Fluency in English.
