St. Crispin Afya Hospital is a licensed Level 3B private health facility in Kajiado committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. As we gear up for our Level 4 transition, we are looking for a proactive and experienced Hospital Administrator to lead daily operations, oversee departmental heads, and ensure the hospital meets its clinical, financial, and strategic goals

Key Responsibilities


  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of all hospital departments through departmental heads
  • Ensure quality patient care by monitoring outpatient/inpatient efficiency, clinical support systems, and patient feedback
  • Lead the budgeting process, manage hospital finances, and drive cost-efficiency measures.
  • Monitor procurement, asset management, billing, receivables, and claims processing
  • Supervise HR functions including hiring, performance management, staff development, and discipline
  • Maintain compliance with Ministry of Health and SHA standards, hospital SOPs, licensing, and accreditation requirements, and other contractual obligations.
  • Drive implementation of the strategic plan and report quarterly progress to the Board
  • Ensure hospital-wide risk management, safety, and emergency preparedness
  • Represent the hospital in external meetings, business engagements, and partnerships

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in health systems management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree in a related field is an added advantage.
  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in senior management within hospital or healthcare administration
  • Knowledge of Kenya’s healthcare regulatory framework, and emerging trends in health.
  • Proficiency in Hospital Management Information Systems
  • Strong financial management and human resource skills
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong planning, reporting, and problem-solving abilities
