Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with both clerical and administrative
work
- Posting transactions in the accounting software
- Filing all documents and maintaining sequential
- Member Invoicing
- Managing office petty cash
- Filing and payment of statutory deductions.
- Managing accounts payable and receivables.
- Bank reconciliations and client/supplier
accounts reconciliation.
- Filing and payment Paye, SHIF, NSSF &
Withholding Taxes.
- Support with budget monitoring
- Support with Grant management and reporting
- Support with HR roles
- Support with tracking of staff leaves
- Support with ensuring organisational policies
are maintained and followed accordingly.
- Support with travel logistics
- Support with maintenance of asset registers.
Qualifications
- Must have a bachelor’s degree in finance or
accounting
- Must have at least a minimum qualification of
CPA II.
- Must have a minimum of 1 year experience in
general accounting for not-for-profit or Association
- Must have experience in accounts receivable,
payables, reconciliation of member accounts, and bank Reconciliations.
- Must have experience working in high-pressure
environments under minimal supervision.
- Must be proficient in QuickBooks, SAGE, ERP, and
computer applications.
- Must possess high integrity and team player
- Must be teachable and ready to learn
- Strong attention to detail and eagerness to
learn.
