Key Responsibilities:
As a Supply Chain Intern, you will gain exposure to various
critical aspects of our e-commerce supply chain, including:
Demand Planning & Inventory Support:
- Assisting
in analyzing sales data to help forecast product demand.
- Supporting
the monitoring of inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstock.
- Aiding
in inventory reconciliation and cycle counts.
Sourcing & Vendor Coordination:
- Assisting
in research and evaluation of potential new suppliers for pet products.
- Supporting
communication with existing vendors regarding orders and deliveries.
- Helping
to maintain accurate vendor information.
Warehouse & Fulfillment Operations:
- Assisting
with the receiving, inspection, and shelving of incoming goods.
- Learning
and participating in the order picking and packing processes for online
shipments.
- Supporting
warehouse organization and efficiency initiatives.
Outbound Logistics & Delivery Support:
- Picking
and packing online orders, and preparing them for shipment to customers.
- Aiding
in the coordination for timely dispatch and delivery of orders.
- Assisting
in tracking shipments and resolving minor delivery issues.
- Learning
about optimizing delivery routes and methods.
Returns & Reverse Logistics (Support):
- Assisting
in processing customer returns and exchanges.
- Supporting
the assessment and re-stocking or disposal of returned items.
Qualifications:
- Currently
pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Supply
Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business
Administration, or a related field.
- Problem-Solver
with Initiative: Eager to identify challenges and propose solutions,
showing a proactive approach to task completion.
- Excellent
attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency
in computer use.
- Ability
