The role will encompass:
- Holding
key responsibility for, and proactively supporting, assigned schools in
East Africa. Working to both grow the presence of Pearson Edexcel, and to
delight our customers through helping solve their problems and offering
the very highest standards of support.
- Acting
as an ambassador for Pearson, developing relationships with key
stakeholders across the education landscape in East Africa.
- Formulating
strategic and operational plans based on a solid understanding of the
market trends and customer demands.
- Leveraging
management tools to analyse data on a variety of critical business
drivers.
- Developing
timely and accurate forecasts for assigned accounts.
- Inspection
and approval of new schools in collaboration with the approvals team based
on the published guidelines.
- Support
Pearson-BTEC schools in collaboration with the wider organisation.

Previous experience:
- Essential:
Deep knowledge of the British Curriculum. Teaching experience will be an
added advantage.
- Desirable:
Experience in business development within the education sector.
Education,
Qualification & Training
- Essential
: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification
- Fluent
in English (spoken and written)
- Proficient
in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Desirable:
Evidence of ongoing professional development or training
Key Requirements
- Must
be a Kenyan citizen; if not, a valid work permit is required
- Must
own a car and possess a valid driving license
