Credit Officer Job in Kenya - TGL Credit

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Credit Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of credit analysis and underwriting principles, with a proven track record of success in assessing and managing credit risk.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate credit applications for individuals and businesses
  • Perform credit analysis, including financial statement review, industry analysis, and collateral.
  • Monitor and manage existing loan portfolios
  • Identify and mitigate potential credit risks
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients and lenders

Qualifications:


  • Diploma holder in Business related field.
  • Minimum of two years of experience as a Credit Officer
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong knowledge of credit rating systems and models
  • Proficiency in financial statement analysis and underwriting techniques
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Regulatory compliance and industry knowledge a plus
