Key Accountabilities
- Transactions processing: Assist in processing and posting of
supplier invoices and outgoing payments and following up with signatories
to ensure payment instructions are signed.
- Compliance and Controls: Assist in the preparation of tax
schedules and prompt filing of taxes to ensure compliance with statutory
requirements.
- Financial reporting: Assist in preparation of accounting
reports including profit and loss statements, balance sheets and cashflow
statements. He/she will assist in analysing financial information that
will aid decision making.
- Records management: Assist in management of finance related
documents.
Eligibility Criteria
The ideal candidates must possess the following:
- Fresh Graduate in a Business, Finance or Investment related
Degree. Graduated with at least a Second Class Upper.
- Highly motivated and talented young professionals willing to
learn and work in the Finance Department.
- Have obtained a minimum of B+ in KCSE or equivalent.
- CPA(K) or ACCA qualification shall be considered as an added
advantage.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- An effective team player.
- IT proficiency including advanced MS Excel skills.
- Ability to work effectively and with minimum supervision.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Experience in the payables and receivables sections.
- Awareness of business trends.
- Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills.
