Purpose Bridging the Gap Between Developers and Customers
The Technical Business Analyst intern will be
responsible for understanding customer’s business needs and translating them
into functional requirements for software development projects in the field of
aviation. The mission on a broader scale is to make aviation processes more
efficient and effective, spanning all the way from government entities to
commercial organizations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Scrutinize business processes and activities, map them into
software requirements and analyze their effectiveness.
- Effectively communicate with stakeholders, including clients,
users, and project teams, to identify and understand their unique
perspectives and serve as a liaison between those parties.
- Researching and discovering the processes, regulations,
internal and external policies used in the regulatory environment of the
aviation industry to monitor and prove compliance for developed system.
- Development of clear and detailed process diagrams.
- Identify gaps between current and desired business processes,
and propose process improvements and optimizations to enhance efficiency
and effectiveness.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging
technologies related to software development and business analysis.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define user acceptance
testing (UAT) scenarios and test cases. Participate in UAT execution and
coordinate issue resolution between business users and the development
team.
- Any other task as assigned by the business.
Qualifications/skills/competencies required
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Information
Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience in translating (customer) requirements into
technical specifications.
- Experience in backend, frontend and database development.
- Have strong organizational and communication skills, including
presentation skills.
- Be a team player with strong interpersonal skills and ability
to take a leadership role when necessary.
- Being able to adapt to different cultures in an international
work environment.
Nice to have’s
- Deeper understanding of agile methodologies like Scrum.
- Work experience with Jira or another issue tracking system.
- Having had international work experience.
