Job Description
The role holder will be tasked to provide strong
management and operational support to the Head of the relevant risk portfolio
for the implementation of the Technology Non-Financial Risk management
processes and systems as a key enabler to achieving the business objectives of
the organisation in the Technology portfolios.
Qualifications
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Risk
Management, Information Security, or equivalent experience.
- One or more relevant industry certifications in information
security (e.g. CISSP, CRISC) Computer skills (Excel, Microsoft word and
Power point) are required for the position.
- Knowledge and understanding of the regulatory environment
governing financial institutions in Kenya is required.
- Understanding of risks management frameworks is highly
desired.
- Ability to proactively anticipate risk and put plans in place
to avoid/manage risk
- Professional qualifications and/or significant experience in
accountancy, IT, finance or audit as well as certifications such as CPA,
CFA, ACA, CISA, or IIA, would be a distinct advantage.

control frameworks and application in financial services industry. Be fully
conversant in risk appetite, risk response and process improvement concepts.
