Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing ICT and digital strategies, policies, systems, and innovations to support the implementation of business plans.
  • Ensuring the development of a robust ICT networks infrastructure (hardware, software), networking components, operating systems (OS), and data storage required to operate and manage the enterprise IT environment which can be deployed within a cloud computing system or an internal system.
  • Developing and implementing ICT application technologies, Analytics, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, Workflows, Enterprise Content Management, Website, Intranet, and mobile solutions to support business processes.
  • Safeguarding ICT infrastructure by developing security strategy, standards, and governance systems to ensure business continuity and mitigate against data loss, business disruption or breach of privacy of CR Advocates data, assets and information.
  • Ensuring compliance with established Information Communication Technology standards, procedures, and regulations.

  • Developing and providing ICT technical support related to hardware and software as well as ensure user education on use of ICT applications, software and equipment. Provide internal IT support -Server security, Software updates, and Hardware’s maintenance.
  • Oversee the Identification implementation, deployment and operations of information systems.
  • Identify the organization’s long-term ICT requirements that will support and deliver the firm’s strategic plans.
  • Develop, maintain and review the organization’s ICT policy and procedures which support the firm’s needs and strategic objectives.
  • Establish a continuous ICT strategic planning cycle which will ensure that the firm remains abreast with and benefits from emerging ICT technology.
  • Ensure the firm has appropriate and up to date ICT functionalities, software and hardware in an effective, efficient, secure and cost-conscious manner.
  • Manage, evaluate and ensure security concerns for the firm are addressed e.g. antivirus, firewall configuration, internal and external penetration testing and user access controls/user account management.
  • Establish procedures to ensure the readiness, quality and accuracy of websites, use of social media platform for business, providing guidance and staff training.
  • Establish a fully-fledged Disaster Recovery Plan in tune with the business continuity plan and ensure the plan is tested and updated periodically.
  • Developing programs and also training team members to promote efficient and effective technologies and service delivery.
  • Lead digital transformation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
  • Implement digital tools and platforms to improve business processes and workflows.
  • Stay updated on emerging digital trends and technologies to drive innovation.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, Information Systems, or IT related field from a reputable university.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in digital skills and systems (Hardware and Software)
  • Applicable Professional certification such as Microsoft, Oracle, or Cisco and Database administration will be an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of IT security systems, intrusion detection and network management
  • Web-programming skills i e. HTML, MySQL, Python, JavaScript.
  • Top notch innovative, analytical skills, interpersonal skills and communication both written & Verbal.
