Job Summary:
- The Group Internal Auditor is responsible for providing
independent and objective assurance on the effectiveness of the company’s
risk management, control, and governance processes. This role involves
conducting financial, operational, and compliance audits across all
departments and locations within the group.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute internal audits to assess the adequacy,
effectiveness, and efficiency of the established internal controls and
procedures.
- Identify key areas of risk within the organization and propose
appropriate controls to mitigate the risks.
- Review the accuracy, timeliness, and relevance of financial
information and other disclosures provided to management.
- Report audit findings and make recommendations for the
correction of unsatisfactory conditions, improvements in operations, and
reductions in cost.
- Perform follow-up audits to monitor management’s
interventions.
- Coordinate with external auditors and assist with annual audit
examinations.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and
company policies.
- Conduct ad hoc investigations into identified or reported
risks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional accounting designation (e.g., CPA, CIA, CISA) is
preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in an internal audit role.
- Strong understanding of internal control concepts and
experience evaluating and determining the adequacy of controls by
considering business and technology risks in an integrated manner.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication
skills.
