Summary: Field Officer Job BM Security. Responsible for coordinating field security operations, monitoring service delivery, supervising security personnel, and responding to operational issues. Requires relevant security training, at least 2 years of experience in security. The role is based in Nairobi with duties performed on-site.
Qualifications
- Education: Degree/ Diploma in Security Management/ Business/ Social
studies or any other relevant field with a Minimum of Grade C (Minus) in
KCSE or equivalent.
- Experience: Must have riding experience with a clean and
valid motorbike license endorsed by NTSA.
- Skills: Communication and PR Skills, Report writing and analytical
skills, Conflict resolution, Use of Enterprise Resource Planner (ERP) and
Computer skills.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Undertake effective field supervision at least twice in each shift.
- Ensure proper turnout of all staff in area of operation.
- Plan and effect procedural deployment of staff as per client
requirements/ contract.
- Prepare daily and monthly operational reports in area of assignment.
- Ensure each SO is sober, alert, properly uniformed and conversant
with the SOPs for his assignment.
- Correctly populate the checking list for his area and report to the
National Administration Centre Operators to populate the muster roll. This
is to be done IMMEDIATELY at the end of each 12 hour shift.
- Handling client complaints immediately and details communicated to
the duty controller for entry in the OB.
- Ensure that company communication (invoices, statements, letters
etc) reaches intended recipients in time (Documents and Correspondences).
- Collect market and operational intelligence.
- Ensure Temporary works orders are signed and payments made.
- Liaise with controller on duty for field communication.
- Ensure there are REGULAR relievers for each post.
- Ensure proper induction of guards deployed to new assignments.
- Issue dispatches & advice on redeployment / release of guards
for various leaves.
- Arrange, plan, and replace guards for their weekly rest days and
annual leave and communicate replacement arrangements to the client prior
to effecting the intended changes.
- Any other lawful duties that may be assigned by the management.
